Basilique Notre-Dame de Montreal

La basilique de Montreal is Montreal’s biggest church. Located in the heart of the Old-Port of Montreal, this historic place is visited by hundreds of thousands every year with people from all over the world. It is also one of the most reputed Churches in the world. It offers a variety of activities yearly, such as concerts, chorals and religious events. One of the current activities it currently offers is ET la Lumiere fut. Presented every Tuesday to Saturday.

This splendid spectacle calls upon the most modern techniques the multimedia to emphasize the inheritance historical, cultural, architectural and spiritual of the basilica, just as its exceptional works of art.

“And the light was” is the fruit of the work of 150 artists and craftsmen. Throughout the spectacle, those actuate 26 quiet engines to make function the screens, the fabrics of diffusion and the curtains of this superb highly automated production. It is featured in 3 languages, French, English and Mandarin. Admission is 10$ at all time. Here is the schedule below for those interested:

Tuesday to Thursday: 6:30PM
Friday: 6:30PM and 8:30PM
Saturday: 7PM and 8:30PM
