As the first decade of the new Millennium comes to an end, it’s important to realize how much the travel world has grown. Throw in social media clients like Facebook and Twitter and you’ve got the whole world talking about travel. It’s easier to find travel news, travel deals and informative articles about interesting destinations. If you find yourself a member or a fan of the travel world, you should find yourself at this Travel social event in NYC.
The 92YTribeca, HotelChatter and Jaunted are teaming up on Thursday December 3rd, 2009 in New York City to present you a special event:
“Travel Gets Social: The New World of Travel Media”
Together, Bowen Payson, Virgin America Manager of Online and Digital Marketing, NY Times Frugal Traveler Matt Gross, Adam Wallace, New Media Director for Roger Smith Hotel and others moderated by Mark G. Johnson, the founder of Jaunted, HotelChatter and VegasChatter will discuss various travel topics.
Join other travelers afflicted by the travel bug and discuss the growing world of travel. Talk about the latest travel deal you found. Find out how to be a better travel writer or network with others and learn about other cool travel websites. Sky is the limit and this is your chance to indulge and share your love for travel with others who are just as crazy about it as you are.
If you’re interested: Tickets are $12 a person and available for purchase at the 92Y Tribeca website.
There will also be a raffle for a pair of Virgin America tickets for anywhere they fly.
