Lonely Planet Wants Your Opinion

Lonely Planet is looking for your opinion on travel itself! I myself could not get into the survey due to the United States, 25, Male section being full. Give it a shot and let us know how the survey was. I’m interested in the results which hopefully will be detailed and posted soon.

Joining the panel is free. If you are accepted to be a panelist, we’ll send you a free Lonely Planet 2010 calendar as a gift to welcome you onboard (while supplies last). And even if you don’t qualify, we’ll give you a discount to our online shop as a thank you for your time.

As a panelist, not only will you get to talk about travel but we regularly run promotions exclusively for panelists where you can win prizes like Lonely Planet products and Amazon gift cards. And if you sign up for our email newsletter you’ll receive lots of great travel content and promotions from us and our partners as well (plus 30% off your next purchase in our online shop)!

We’d like to get to know you better and decide whether or not you’re suitable for the panel. The registration survey contains some basic questions for you – for example what you like/dislike about traveling, what information sources you use while traveling and how often you travel, etc.

We’ll look at your responses and depending on your age, travel experience and country of residence you might be one of the people we’re looking for! The type of people we need on the panel changes from time to time, so if you aren’t suitable for our panel this time we’ll keep the information you provide to us and we may contact you to participate in future.

  • Sounds great! I love how LP keeps connected with it's audience & I know just being connected to that brand is good as we were thrilled to win 2 Lonely Planet Best Travel Blog Awards in 2009 (much to our surprise)!

Thanks for getting this info out there!
  • A well deserved award I might add!

What an excellent idea the Lonely Planet has. Good for them for always looking for ways to improve their publication.
