One Day in Africa

by Michael Tieso on March 10, 2009

From the creator of A Map for Saturday, Brook Silva-Braga has created yet another amazing documentary called One Day in Africa. As quoted from the official website “On a single day at the messy juncture of tradition and modernity, six people from different geographic and cultural backgrounds describe six versions of the African story.” A profile of each person is documented on the website as well. I’m extremely excited for this upcoming film. Vagablogging.com interviewed Brook last month and what I found most interesting is his originality in this film. Expect a full review of the film here at Art of Backpacking. The first screenings will be on March 26th and 28th at the Cleveland International Film Festival. Follow the Facebook page for any upcoming dates.

Keep them coming Brook! We love what you’re doing!
