Portrait of Street sellers in Hoi An,Vietnam - 2007

I been meaning to post about this and I finally remembered to mention it here. I’m by no means a professional when it comes to photography however I have been learning quite a bit as I am trying to lean into becoming a professional. Taking pictures while traveling is important to many of us as it helps us remember our travels for many years to come.

Darren Rowse is the editor and founder of Digital Photography School. Darren made a post about a month ago about “The Art of Travel Photography“. I found his post very informative and helpful to everyone taking pictures abroad. Throughout his entire website you will find information just as helpful for anything related to photography. We highly recommend this website.

If you have any travel pictures you’d like to share, upload them to our Flickr Group. As you can tell, the most recent pictures is shown on the right sidebar. We also feature pictures in the Art category.

It is part of the photographer’s job to see more intensely than most people do. He must have and keep in him something of the receptiveness of the child who looks at the world for the first time or of the traveller who enters a strange country.
