Travel Forums

I’m a frequent forum user posting in several message boards across the internet. It’s a great way of meeting new people, finding new information, reading stories, inspiration, and well almost anything else can be put into text. I’ve met countless amount of people that has turned into long term friendships from message boards. I’ve become so addicted to posting in forums that I’ve decided to start one called Nightlife Vibe. A website based on Nightlife from around the world.

Part of my inspiration to finally get out there and travel was thanks to the message boards of TravelPod. They have great informative forums and helpful folks. Another favorite is Bootsnall. Just heaps of information that will likely cause your eyes to burn. Best of all, if you ever have a question you’ll likely receive an educated answer with minimal amount of nonsense. If you don’t mind the crowd, I suggest Thorn Tree by Lonely Planet. The search feature would have to be abused at Thorn Tree to find what you are looking for however.

What are your favorite message boards to post in? Why is it your favorite?
