Often, we try to avoid the television because it is distracting, boring, repetitive and we could do better things with our time. Here is the get out of jail free card for the one show you should check out this year.
The Amazing Race 14 (Season 14!) an original series has aired in the United States since 2001 and has earned seven Primetime Emmy Awards. The show made its debut in the midst of the tragedy of September 11th, 2001, but the show continues on in its 14th season. It is a unique reality program that features teams of two with special relationships (siblings, husband and wives or best friends) who embark upon a race around the world for the grand prize of a million dollars.
What is the catch? Traveling around the world for free with all expenses paid and a chance at a million dollars? Sign me up! I guess the “catch” is being able to travel not only with your partner, but in a fast paced environment in challenging countries, doing cultural and action packed tasks and did we forget, with cameras following your every move?
